In 1904 the Cambridge Antiquarian Society concerned by the amount of change that was taking place unrecorded, commenced a Cambridgeshire Photographic Survey.

In 1904 the Cambridge Antiquarian Society concerned by the amount of change that was taking place unrecorded, commenced a Cambridgeshire Photographic Survey.

The project continued after the Great War with visits to every local village to snap cottages, mansions and other aspects of local life. They also visited areas of Cambridge itself that usually escaped attention.

The Presentation will feature some of their photographs which were published in 'Vanishing Cambridgeshire, (Breedon Books, 2003)

Pictures from the Photographic Survey are featured each day in Mike's Vanished Cambridgeshire Revisited Facebook Group
